Handcrafted by Hmong women artisans in Northern Thailand, this clutch is a celebration of tradition, patience, and artistry. Each piece begins with hand-stamped batik, where molten wax is carefully pressed onto cotton using carved copper blocks, creating intricate patterns that guide the dye and bring each design to life.
The fabric is then dyed, often in rich indigo tones, before the wax is removed to reveal the final pattern. This centuries-old technique, once reserved for royalty, carries deep cultural meaning, with many designs believed to symbolize prosperity, protection, and good fortune. Finished with hand-crocheted details, small bells, and mirrored accents, each clutch carries both texture and story in every stitch.
